Recognition of International Dimension in Schools (RIDS)

Empowering Global Citizenship Through Learning Beyond Borders

IDS Intro

What is RIDS?

The Recognition of International Dimension in Schools (RIDS) is a British Council programme that recognises schools committed to embedding international awareness and global citizenship into their curriculum.

At AJPS, we embrace RIDS to:
  • Foster an appreciation for cultural diversity.
  • Encourage students to think critically about global challenges.
  • Build skills for collaboration in a connected world.

Through project-based learning aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals and international school partnerships, our students develop the knowledge, skills, and attitudes required to become responsible global citizens. RIDS is not just a recognition; it’s a commitment to a brighter, more inclusive future.
